Here’s another classic hard rock solo… George Lynch, Dokken – Unchain the Night.
I used to play this song in a cover band back in the early 90s. I’ve always liked Dokken and George in particular – his melodic approach, tone and style are really great.
Gear-wise, it’s a Marshall JCM1 head with a Marshall 1×12 cab. Also I put a full-size humbucker in the bridge of my Strat – the single-coil-sized ones just weren’t working for me any more.
