Here’s a cover of the intro and solo from Rock You Like a Hurricane by the Scorpions. I always loved this solo and I’m a huge Scorpions fan. Matthias Jabs is one of my favourite players.
Rudy Schenker once said of Matthias, “He’s like a blend of my brother Michael (Schenker) and Eddie Van Halen”. I think that’s pretty fair comment!
Anyway – here’s my version… I extended the harmony part a little longer to the end of the intro.
